Eyes of Emergence
My 2026 Guggenheim Fellowship Journey
For over 20 years, I’ve poured life’s rhythms—chaos, joy, and introspection—into vibrant, abstract canvases. My “Abstract Eye” collection, crystallized during the pandemic, distills this journey into bold, swirling eyes that confront and uplift, using color to spark mental health and connection. My swirling, life-like Abstract Eye style pulls you in, blending bold primaries and wild gradients to challenge perceptions and lift spirits. Backed by science, my art proves color can shift moods and spark wonder. A DC-born, ultra-contemporary artist, I’m applying for the 2026 Guggenheim Fellowship to continue creating large-scale works that redefine abstraction as a universal language of healing and accessibility. The Abstract Eyes have a new nickname: #GuggenheimEyes

The Horizon:
Healing and Happiness Through Color, Worldwide
Whether the 2026 Guggenheim Fellowship envelope brings a 'yes" or a "try again," my journey forward is clear: art as an antidote, abstraction as empathy. Following Milan Oct 2025, I envision more Abstract Eye exhibitions, more publications, a coffee-table book that blends my story, and perhaps—a dream—a TEDx talk on "The Healing Gaze of Color."
